None-Asians or people who have not been informed properly are intimidated by going to the Asian grocery market and have many misconceptions.
Labels and product descriptions
Many Asian products have English labels and product description as well as cooking directions, if you’re intimidated on how to cook them, don’t be, besides I sometimes watch YouTube just to make sure I’m doing it right.
Do you see all the English labels?=)
Saving program or Coupons
Many Asian stores have a rewards program as well as coupons. For example, H-Mart has a program where if you spend a $1 =5pts, Redeem 500pts=$1 and you may start using your points when it reaches 2,500pts. (Ask customer service desk to apply for H-Mart savings card)
H-Mart created an app where coupons and sale flyer can be viewed in one place, of course, there is a paper coupon that comes in the mail, but I forgot how I got those coupon books, I think I registered my card online and that was how I got my coupon book, but you can always ask the customer service desk.
Other random savings:
Special event drawings/sweepstakes
Sometimes they have special drawings where you can a win a vacation, a car, cash or random items. I actually won a box of dried seasoned seaweed!
this picture is a coupon stamp book you get from Mega Mart in Duluth to get extra points, you can ask for these at the customer service desk.
Keep in mind that not all Asian grocery stores have reward or savings program.
